Outstanding Work!
We have redone every single room in our house and the last project was the outside restoration and paint - Jim Dowd made the large project our best experience (hands down)with any crew in Denver. Not only was the price very fair but Jim and team kept us up to date of any additions we might need and quoted us prices extremely quick. We added many specific things above the original scope of work that would add time/labor to their project and were met EVERY time with a smile and "no problem" - Jim was able to order fans/vents within 8 hours! The house/yard were left immaculate everynight and Rich the painter was beyond a pleasure to see on a daily basis. Jim stopped by very frequently to check progress and assure we were happy. I would highly recommend Dowd Restoration - we can't stop staring at our "new" house!
Hire these guys - they're worth it!
Dowd's team sanded and stained our two redwood decks after completing some needed repairs. Of the three estimates we had gotten in advance, their company wasn't the cheapest but was certainly the most thorough in assessing our needs. We're so thankful that we went with Dowd and feel like we definitely got our money's worth and more! His team was incredibly hard working and skilled, with the bonus of being friendly and conscientious. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and would recommend them to anyone who wants their project well done.
Great Experience!
Dowd Restoration recently finished painting the exterior of my house. Jim made the entire experience very smooth and trouble-free. The preliminary work-scraping, priming, patching, etc.-was very expertly done, and everything was completed in a timely manner. There were some complications due to a new roof and some woodwork repairs being done during the same time period, once that was completed, Jim was over quickly to take care of all the touching up and additional repainting necessary. The crew was very friendly and polite. They also worked very hard and answered all questions we had. We were also amazed at how a new paint job and colors can totally change the look of a house. We love the new look. Definite two thumbs up!

I appreciate their professionalism in the entire process, from bid to completion, and their attention to detail. We were really thrilled with the job Dowd Restoration did on our fence and deck - it all looks like new!!! And the work was done well, in a timely manner, and they didn't cut corners. I really like that!
Great work great value
Jim's team did a great job on the exterior and interior of our commercial bldg. He provided the best values for our budgets. He's good with difficult surfaces, we had some rust and extra prep work. He's got the capacity for the larger jobs and attention to detail for the smaller jobs. I'm an experienced GC and felt I received a high level of service, we had no headaches and timely service. Deck refinishing
Dowd restoration brought our deck back to life, replacing decayed wood, sanding and cleaning the whole thing, and staining it beautifully. Very professional. Easy to communicate with. I would definitely work with them again.

Jim and his team did a terrific job restoring my deck and painting my house. I was very impressed with his commitment to getting the job done right of the highest quality and making sure I was satisfied with it before finishing...even with a few mid project change requests. Deck needed to be stripped, sanded, screws and nails reset, and stained. The deck looks great. House needed water damage fixed, patched and painted. House looks great. All at a reasonable price. I feel comfortable that Jim and his team would make a return visit to do any touch-ups if necessary. Jim's crew is talented and professional, great customer service.
